Is going to the beach a normal or an unusual thing for you?

I hate beaches. When I was younger I tried to run into the sea and burnt my feet on the sand so I think that's put me off them.

I only go when its a really nice day. N.I is small so only 2 hours at the most to the coast.

Unusual, I'm one of the places in the UK that's as far from a beach as possible. Plus I think our nearest coastline is Skegness and nobody would ever choose to go there to visit the beach.

I live 80 miles from the nearest coast. We might go once a year but I don't really enjoy it as my mother just likes to walk along the sand and then go home which I find boring.

i live literally like 5 minutes walking distance from one. used to walk to dog along it a few nights a week but I'm lazy now

Unusual. I live 10 minutes away from a beach, but I don't like going. I don't like Sand
It's alright to go there for a walk, though. It's where I tend to go if I want to take a walk, but the weather sucks most of the time around here so it's a rare thing to be able to go.

Normal. I walk down to the beach at least once a week, as I live in a seaside town.

I guess it's pretty normal from where I live, the City Centre is right on the beach front.
