i don't think saying you'll resign as party leader and coming back means you're going to go back on your policy promises lol

but laughing, "resignation rejected", do his other members not want to be a leader or is it cause they know Farage is the only one who can carry it?

So much pride that he doesn't go against his word (like other politicians). The man is ridiculous.

i don't think it's the worst thing a politician can do and it's not worth getting bothered about since it's unlikely he's going to amount to anything in parliament

Oh, I'm not bothered about it - their big chance was this election

I am just pointing out that he has shown himself up for exactly what he is; part of the establishment (that he hates so much).

what do u think happens now? continue the way they were and yet again amount to nothing, put in more effort to actually be a party rather than focusing mostly on immigration and EU or fade into the background like BNP?

plus why won't Jim Murphy resign no one likes him

They'll probably go more socialist all of a sudden because that way they can mop up some extra votes in what is clearly a desperate bid for power rather than a genuine wish or willingness to do right by the country

I'm sorry but how do you 'reject' a resignation?

If I resigned from my job irl and my boss said "no thanks I reject that proposal".. that...wouldn't work.

    Anyway, not that surprised.

Because Farage doesn't really want to leave.
