I've sworn in front of teachers so that they've heard it but it wasn't directed at them. I don't think I'd have the balls to swear at them, i'd be too scared to see what happened. Quite a few times I'd be told to mind my language..

I swear way too much anyway and I'm pretty sure I swore in one of my oral presentations last year, it made everyone laugh though, including my teacher.

I've never actually swore at anyone, not even to myself. I've just never seen the need to.

However, I see nothing wrong with swearing as long as it isn't intended to hurt someone (but the same goes for words that aren't classed as swears) - they're just words after all.

No, but I wrote a long complaint to the teacher about her teaching style and attitude (basically saying her lectures were a waste of time), cc'd the Dean of the university. Woke up and my mark changed form a Fail to an A+

No point swearing when you can put across the same point of view in a strong manner.

Yes I have, at 2 different teachers. One was the 6th grade dean who yelled a lot, and I lashed out one day in contempt. Even though I got in school suspension, getting to read my manga book was great. Oh, and I swore at my English teacher in the 9th grade once. The reason? She threatened to give those who didn't do homework captive lunch detention a few times, and we had to eat a bagged lunch every time. If that wasn't enough, she wanted me to write a handwritten apology that same night or else she'd call my parents.

If you think that is an unfair punishment for not doing your homework, you are going to be absolutely ****** in the real world.
