    And there was me thinking we had run out of ways to make the forum look more tacky.

    To be honest I think we've just about exhausted all the decent colour combos. Scott's is a decent suggestion though.

    I can't find the old picture that I did as an example whenever it was, mostly because I haven't actually tried, but yeah having VIP where the gradient goes down rather than across is something I've wanted for years it would be much prettier

    To those requesting different things, would it be possible to provide examples from other forums or vBull help things? We are a bit limited as there aren't that many active people who can do FUNKY things any more

    For the gradient you'd probably need CSS using linear-gradient(bottom, #00ffff, #ffff00) kind of thing.

    I imagine you can apply CSS to usenames through custom class/id or even style tags.

    ok so it is possible

    something like

    HTML Code:
    <b style="background: dodgerblue; background: -webkit-linear-gradient(bottom, dodgerblue, yellow); background: -o-linear-gradient(bottom, dodgerblue, yellow); background: -moz-linear-gradient(bottom, dodgerblue, yellow); background: linear-gradient(bottom, dodgerblue, yellow); -webkit-background-clip: text; -webkit-text-fill-color: transparent;">

    </b>
    can obviously alter colours etc, current one we tested looks a bit rubbish on non-habbo dark skin

    Those colours are revolting. Could look nice with the right colours though. We need something light and summery.
