We live in a detached house in the suburbs. When I was younger I loved it but these days I hate it because there are only 2 of us left when there used to be 5 so the house is far too big for just me and my mum now; I always feel like we're the last two beans in the can and I rly worry about her for when I move out.

But the area is very nice. When my parents bought here it was quite a cheap area as there was nothing really out here but the city has expanded SO much our house has over doubled in value woo hooooo.

We know all our neighbours and we go on like a street christmas walk once a year and stuff but I won't go anymore cos I think a lot of our neighbours are too nosy! Some of them have been very rude sticking their nose in when my grandma was dying last year and things

But can't really complain as we're very lucky to be where we are! Hopefully we'll be downsizing in the next few years though as it almost seems unfair for just two people to take up a big family house and I know a family would be very happy here as we were when I was younger.

Aw it sounds really lovely where you live, it's a shame about the neighbors being a bit too nosy though

    hard to describe rly
we live in a big block of apartments but our setup is a maisonette so we go in one door and walk up a flight of stairs, to the left is our home and to the right is someone elses. so our first floor is on the second floor of apartments and our second floor is the third floor if that makes sense lol.

so there are a lot of flats/maisonettes in this building (lovely fire hazard). not sure who is on the right of us you only hear them every so often at night time and to the left is an elderly deaf pensioner.
our apartments basically full of pensioners and some young single people/couples who work and the pensioners do the upkeep like gardening, painting around the area and we have our own private parking and gates around which only we can get in using a key so its quite nice! you don't really see much people around despite how many places there are as like I say most are pensioners or out working so it's nice and quiet. its just the same old people we see: the guy who walks everyones dogs, the girl cross the road who hurt her leg so she doesn't work anymore and sits outside drinking sometimes lmao whilst her bf works, the lady downstairs who don't open her door past 6pm, the guy who works on cars outside our house, the lady janet who has the keys to the gates etc. lots of times we've missed parcels and people have taken it in for us and came by later. our neighbour we just bring her mail to her as she has problems walking & offer with shopping etc same with any of our other neighbours rly but mostly everyone keeps themselves to themselves.

What type of house do you live in or do you live in a flat? Who do you live with? What are your neighbors like?

Live in a house with 3 other people. My girlfriend @iKaylaaaaa, my sister @emily965 and her boyfriend.

Neighbours... we have neighbours on all 4 sides of us, so it can get a bit noisy. The one on the left has 3 kids under 6, and they love to play in the backyard so you can't go a day without hearing one of them yelling.

Behind us, we have a family with two teenage girls... the mother screams at them and they scream back, had to call the cops a few times before.

aand on the right we have a very placid elderly neighbour who likes to tend to our garden which is on the fenceline Keeps him busy i guess.
