i don't think they should be ear pierced as that's a decision for them to make in later life

Noppppee, should be the child's decision when they're older!! I got mine done when I was about 6 I think, I wanted them done earlier. It's just like a vanity thing if you want a THING to show off get a dog or a doll or something

It's pretty common in many cultures to have a girl's ears pierced very young - some even piece their nose.
