I really wouldn't care. Whether you're gay or not, it doesn't give you the right to use the word as a derogatory term.

Being gay my self would mean i would be insulting my self, so therefore invalid and nulled to all others because of my hexuality.

So no, you're not just insulting yourself, and it's not a "invalid and nulled" (nice use of hyperbole by the way) comment.
