although if you look carefully you'll see a little precaution i've taken to make sure someone doesn't "borrow" the background image even when it is finished and on display.
i just spotted it - thats clever

Yeah, that'll probably be added at some point, the current block and water colours are only temporary but i did start messing about with some texturing, only problem being at that scale it's difficult to get it looking right without looking too large for the rest of the scene.
Now If we all had monitors that could display sub pixels or something, i could do so much more with 0.25 px at that scale.... :p

People of my generation are not as "old" as the 30+ year olds were when i was in my teens, i was brought up in one of the coolest decades and was involved in all kinds of new stuff that you guys take for granted now, i did skateboarding the first time round, and bmx vert ramps etc (i'm still riding now exept i've upgraded to downhill mountainbiking), i'm an ex-graffiti artist which is something that led me to becoming a graphic designer and more importantly, i was one of the lucky ones to be around when the newest gadget started taking over the world, the home computer. i was one of the first kids in my entire school to have a computer at home plus i was fortunate enough to have a mum who was a computer programmer which gave me a pretty decent head start, so why should i give all that up just because i'm 30+, i mean that would be like telling Matt Hoffman to give up bmx and he's older than me!

I get a lot of people asking me why someone my age uses Habbo, it's simple really, as a qualified multimedia producer and artist i find sites like Habbohotel to be amazing concepts, especially as i played games that were based on the pixels iso style as a kid and not having the internet back then meant there was no real interactivity with other people, so naturally when i came across the very basic Mobiles Disco in 2001 i was blown away, imagine my reaction when i was shown Habbohotel shortly afterwards! Admittedly i don't normally get so hooked on sites like that but 5 years down the line and i'm actually involved in the site itself in my role as a Supervisor Hobba, alongside many other hobbas and staff, some of whom will be around my age as well.

As for hanging out in some of the forums, the 3 habbo related forums i use are just a few of the other 20+ other non-related forums i'm subscribed to, i like to stick around these places so i can keep up with goings on, show off some artwork and give any advice on topics that i might be able to share my knowledge in, thats what the net is all about after all.
I understand the whole paranoia surrounding adults on the internet, but we're not all weirdo's or boring pipe and slipper types....honest. :p
