It's not an alt name :s Its a normal name without the limits of Habbos Registration. An alt name would have stars, this name has spaces which is normal, just not for Habbo.

They can still ban, because they can click on the Habbo, and then ban. They use 'x' to symbolise the habbo the have clicked on. As for remotely, if they have character map and the volter font, they can look at the alt code used, and change it to the font use on the remote banning (probably verdana or something similar) and see what the same alt code gives you. Banning a person with an alt code is no problem at all, you just need to know the code for each alt character.

my fav alt name ðþ got banned by the gay MOD-Elux (I personaly hate him) and I found it unfair cause there was another alt name in the room but he spared cause she had HC i think it was Rebeccå
