it's a game, kind of like the sims, in the same way you have to raise skills, although this is more combat based, i guess, and more medevil-ish.
I'd say it was a cross between the sims and dungeons and dragons.
It's a great game, check it out, it's a little confusing at first, but don't give up, it gets easier
