    yes... the most you should pay for coal is 150 ea, not sure about iron since I don't sell/buy it 50-75?. So at the most buy 2k coal for 300k, spend 75k for 1k iron ore, make 1k steel bars and sell for 500 ea... 500k - 375k ='s 125k profit.
