in that case go for my first suggestion.
its too much text and it hits you in the face.

i can see (and read lol) that you are having other pages, im jsut saying you need to take a whole lot of that text off of that home page. maybe like a tabbed div that rotates through them. Make the main thing on the page about the signature. Irt was the last thing i noticed tbh

The point being, we don't want too many pages.. and there's no point in making a page for the FAQ.. and a page for "what it is" and all that stuff..

Which is why there is four text boxes.. not that much if you actually look at it.. it saves wasting space and bandwidth on un-needed pages ;P

    read the edit btw,

the FAQ and what it is can go on the same page. and nobody really cares how many pages their are. they cant take up that much bandwidth. theyll only be read once if at all by every user. your bandwidth wont shoot up with 2 extra pages.

I think it's all useful text, plus it's obviously giving Twitsig a run for their money, they're desperate for new designs right now :/ Plus it's only 4kb for the whole page, which is pretty neat.
Might give it a spin for a little while...

I agree.. the text explains what it is all about.

    http://www.socialsigr.com/go/openbeta

I can pick out the "generate" part pretty easy myself.. and it's one of the first things I notice.

Yeah Twitsig is pretty desperate.. we've bene contacting all the people who have supported them in the past, and are letting them know about our service

what i mean is, i look at that then see the text. ic ant explain lol.

I just think that you need to re-work the design and a few words to the navigation. its very... narrow, as well.

twitsig is twitsig.com? omg tahts horrendous lol

i never said it was bad? Point out where i did please...

all im telling you are suggestions which will improve the design yet, as per usual as far as i have seen, you take no criticism on board and change it or at least look at new designs. so in future, ill keep suggestions to myself in future

I cant quite grasp your mentality kk. you start going off on one about us not listening to your "suggestions" when we havn't said your wrong... or that we wouldnt.

I was saying that I dont physically have the time to be making whole layout changes as you are suggesting, making it wider would also = more whitespace which would also get people into a tiff. We are explaining the service, not the site which only generates the code... I can understand your arguement/points but they just don't seem visable to us yet until the main system is up to where we want it to be.

What may not be clear is, we do appreciate all feedback - just we have to look into factors such as time etc...

from what ive read, caleb doesnt give a flying **** what i think he just argues or at least gives an excuse as to why not to do it.

Im not saying a whole layout change? The design you have now is good its just it can be better and i want it to be as its a good idea. all you had to do to make it wider was to change the widths of things and the padding.

as for the home page, you just have one box for the creation tools and one for what its about, possibly going across most (about 70%+ of the page rather than just half.) you just have to fidle about a bit with it, its hardly much work and if u want it to be a success then youre going to have to get rid of all that text! actually, can u show me a good site that has that much bulk text on and its succesful? im just intrigued to see what they look like

just a side note, how can making it wider = more white space, it would reduce it, thats why ive said it, theres too much already
