    Mines 500GB too. No scratching noises, but mines a pain because whenever I turn on my computer I have to turn it on, and when I leave I have to turn it off, so I'm always pushing extra buttons .

    So it doesn't make a really loud racket when you're transferring data on it? Do you use it as a Time Machine for OS X? Cos when it's backing up my Mac it's ridiculously loud.

    I'll re-post with pictures one day, but I'll write about it for now.

    Laptop setup. Sofa + Lap + watching TV.

    My room computer setup is a bit more complicated.
    Left->Right
    Tower + External HD
    Mac + Mouse + Key bored
    Mointer #1
    Mointer #2
    In front of those two mointers my mouse + keybored.
    TV + SKY BOX + DVD Player

    The "+" means that they are on top of each other.

    Nah, I just use it for odds and ends. Mostly for torrenting. I'd try Time Machine on it to see, but I'd need to reformat it.
