Why is this still going on?
Agreed, but others previously, like the one about letters should have been in spam immediately yet it wasn't, therefore, the others shouldn't be if we're going off that rule - it doesn't matter though. Those who are doing it for tokens can still earn them regardless of whether they get moved to spam due to the polls in them.
Management have said it's not up to moderators to decide the quality of a thread, and that people shouldn't complain about the types of threads when activity is down. It's also been established that 'Post your' threads are fine, since that forum got removed a few months back, and it's been shown before that moderators do not enforce the 'do not post one/two word replies' rule.
So actually, there's nothing wrong with the threads. Hence why they're all still around. Yes, the topicsaren't as discussive as some others, but these threads are getting many replies, so it's increasing activity, which must be a good thing![]()
Yeah I know that, but some of them still belong in Spam. Whether or not they're actually going to be moved to spam or not is another issueManagement have said it's not up to moderators to decide the quality of a thread, and that people shouldn't complain about the types of threads when activity is down. lets face it, its not very interesting to read, but management obviously want quantity over quality.
It takes a terrible kind of Forum Manager to actively discourage discussion:
Just curious, why is there a thread with rules specifically engineered towards preventing discussion - in clear violation of forum rules?
