Finally started watching Toradora again, but I'm finding it very hard to enjoy. Shows like this and Clannad just aren't for me I think. I'll try and finish it though. No point dropping it now. I still need to finish Soul Eater as well... it must be approaching two years since I started watching it now. The last few episodes are so crap though, getting through them is torture.
There was something i liked about soul eater, i quite liked the demon character. Although you can't deny the ending was awfully anticlimatic. Finally started watching Toradora again, but I'm finding it very hard to enjoy. Shows like this and Clannad just aren't for me I think. I liked Asura too until he was rendered completely pointless as soon as he was released and suddenly the anime started following a bunch of worthless new characters around. The first twenty episodes pretty much built up to that moment and then after kicking major ass and breaking free Asura goes and hides in a cave. What was the point. And don't even get me started on those filler episodes with Excalibur. I'd rather watch paint dry. Ragnarok and Crona need to piss off as well... they're friggin' liabilities that just need to get over themselves. Still, the anime had Medusa and Stein which are major plus points. They were both fantastic characters and I still think the moment Stein went mad and sliced her in half was one of the most amazing moments in any series.
Soul Eater spoilers below folks (some above too, actually).
Im surprised its been 2 years and you still remember that. I remember now that you mention it but da-amn. It was good at parts, but yeh, the ending episodes/ending let it down.
I have a good memory. I pretty much remember everything that happened in Utawarerumono despite it being over three years since I've seen it now and having only seen it once. You tend to remember the things which are either really good, or really bad, and since Soul Eater is a mix of both I guess thats why it sticks out to me. You're lucky you can forget things so easily. I often can't enjoy a movie as much the second time around because its still so fresh in my mind even after waiting a year.![]()
I still remember utawarerumono pretty much. I just tend to randomly forget things and remember others. I remember d.gray-man pretty much fully and i thought that was pretty average.I have a good memory. But yeh, its quite nice, im the same way with movies/series. thats why im somewhat holding back on watching the TTGL movie until im high or tired or have completely forgotten it.
Yeah, I watched the movies almost two years after I had seen the series and it was a bit of a drag because I remembered a lot of it. The new sequences made up for that though. I'm pondering whether to watch Death Note for a fourth time or not. Even though I remember so much of it its a series I can always enjoy. The same goes for Avatar. God knows when I first watched that series, but when I finally got around to watching it again a couple of months back, I was surprised with how much I remembered but I was still able to enjoy it very much, just because its Avatar. I guess there are those few special expections. Samurai Champloo would probably be another, but I have yet to revisit that.
I've revisited samurai champloo 3 times i think, death note 3 times. You should really watch SM again. I have yet to watch avatar again though, i would like to, but i hate stopping something im watching and watching something else. So i have like 150 more episodes of one piece.
