I know what n00b means...
Only experienced, you can be a member for a long time on something and still be a n00b. I have a Runescape account somewhere and I have had it for a few years now and I know nothing of Runescape, therefore I am a Runescape n00b. Plus, you cannot be a member of n00b?

The first thing I think of when I hear the words 'Habbox forum' is that song, 'welcome to the house of fun'
Noob might be intended as an insult, but I don't find it an insult, because it's just some word :rolleyes:Originally Posted by RyanP
Just because it isn't taken as an insult, doesn't mean it wasn't intended as one.
Also, you can say "shut up you black b*stard", and even though in a different context it wouldn't be seen as racist to say black, it is then. That's why, n00b, depending on what context it's used in, is an insult
And if I am a noob, wow, I'm an inexperienced playerGive me an award!
n*gger is also just a word, yet very insulting.Originally Posted by Kardan

I said I have had the account for ages and I am a Runescape n00b because I have very little knowledge on Runescape... Which makes me a n00b...
Yes, n00b means newbie and to someone who is not new it is an insult...
EDIT:
Josh, read the first sentence and tell me if you see the words, Sabre and n00b

Lets face it, nobody takes the words "n00b" "noob" "fr00b" or whatever seriously these days, but that doesn't remove the fact that they are meant as insults, everybody knows they are, yet smart**** always start a arguement over them.
GommeInc, where you the type of kid who used to say "actually, a tomato is a fruit"?

every insult is just a wor4d, doesn't mean its not insulting.
For example, if you called someone a ginger *I'll filter this myself please* and there not ginger, then they wouldn't find it insulting.
But if you said it to some one that is ginger they might find it insulting. It depends if they take it in there stride.
I never intended to start an argument over it. It is people who take it to heart that started the argumentOriginally Posted by RyanP
