The flashforwards aren't necessarily true though, nothings been said about them so they could be purposely misleading? I guess we'll see but its not nailed on that they survive. They could be just what might happen.

ANYWAY I have a question , at the end of the first series when they went to find the "others" Sun , Jin and Sajid (sp?) went on a boat around the Island. They saw a the foot of a massive statue but it only had 4 toes.
Anyone know what that was?

It's apparently another thing that leads to 'the cursed numbers' because it has 4 toes and the number 4 is in the number sequence pls. But it will most likely be explained later on or it was just somethnig random that they put in which doesn't have any meaning

Maybe the whole of lost is a flash back and the ending of s3 was the current time? :p
Meh. I just think that the writers needed something for a cliffhanger. I personally think s3 was crap. S2 ending ... they brought in desmonds gf and we saw michael and walt leave. s3 - we saw desmonds gf again for a few seconds and walt.
They just keep repeating the cliffhangers. And every season, they arent answering any questions, they are just giving us more questions.

And that flashfoward could be a possible future ... or maybe it was a dream.

Well they answer one big question:

Do Kate and Jack get off the Island? Yes!

But I hate how 90% of a season is building upto the finale, then when the finale eventually comes it reveals very little. It's just perpetual suspense, but it still creates a great show.

As I said earlier, no it doesn't answer that.. not necessarily. They haven't actually answered anything for certain thats what Lost is about. Nothing is dead set on because there are so many possibilities.

They do answer that. It's a very specific question, do Kate and Jack get off the Island? The answer is yes. The flash-forward is as clear as anything has ever been on the show.

btw there repeating series3 on skyone on saturdays at 8pm i finkz.
i watched s3e1 on tv for first time and rest for when the other episodes r out because i had to watch them on a tiny like 10inch computer screen it was horridz.
anyway yeah i was annoyed that series2 cliffhanger was like the same as series3 i was hoping they'd give us an answer apart from
