No offence mate, but me and thousands of other people manage to do it just fine

If you think you'll forget things, then have a pen and paper ready and you can always ask a controler to "say again" if you missed his or her transmission.

We really appreciate pilots using voice or at the least voice recieve as it takes a huge work load off us.. Stressful being a controler, you know?

I think you should at least try voice, if you do decide too, good luck!

VATSIM makes the new users feel scared. My first online flight, I was terrified. But-I should of been laughing because I did awful. As long as they know you're new though, you'll be fine. Just ask the ATC, they're here to help.

I would also do it but I can't land! Ive had fs for 2 months and I only just worked out how to use autopilot.. I can do autoland but it won't line up with runway and just trys to land at the side and then circles the airport 24/7 :/

Anyway I hate using my mouse to fly Hopefully my joystick arrives on monday!

Thanks Ill try it, I was taxiing to runway 23L at EGCC, Just crossed the first runway and reported vacated then the throttle Zoomed up and the plane just wouldn't stop. I don't think flaps, reverse thrust and breaks would have slowed down 4 Jet engines running at full pelt.

Well we was on our way to USA when my Flight Sim closed. Half the blame on tom as he put my flaps to 30 and when i tired disconnecting him my FS closed.
