The new number 1 wasnt really about the song.. just stopping Simon Cowell. :/

You tried to put a racial spin on it. Maybe it's because the whole song isn't just rasp alone. Besides, people don't necessarily listen to a song like KITN because it's audibly pleasing, but more because of what it stands for which makes it perfect for this cause. I bet most of the kids complaining about it don't even have the slighest idea what Killing In The Name is all about anyway .

I didn't miss the point fgs.. It's because people were fed up with the x factor almost being guaranteed the top spot. If 30 year olds are being told to buy a certain song just because they don't like one show, then I don't know what some people class as immature..

And listening to the lyrics of KITN I presume it's about not doing what youre told. It's such a poorly written song, it has just 6 lines of lyrics just repeated over and over

It's not poorly written. The repetition is for effect - usually when people repeat the same lyrics to the same rhythm it's ******* annoying but here it's symbolic.

I'm willing to bet more people who bought it don't get what it's about, because if they really did they wouldn't have become part of the single biggest mass conformity in music this decade

He didn't say what he thinks it is about, he said if the majority of people who bought it did know what it was about, they probably wouldn't have actually bought it.

Actually he implied it was about mass-conformity. In fact it relates to members of various police forces in the US also being members of the KKK, hence the opening lines; 'Some of those that work forces, are the same that burn crosses' and others such as; 'Those who died, are justified, for wearing the badge, they're the chosen whites'.
