Been watching Ookami-San
It's not a generic high school show. The characters are genuinely interesting, and **** has hit the fan now. Can't wait for the next episode!

So I've finally finished all of Darker than Black - OVAs, Season 2, etc etc. I really really liked the first season, the OVAs were very good too but not as good, then I really really liked the second season... until the endings. That was a bit of a let down.
What to watch next? I have loads of stuff on plan to watch, and I still need to continue with Gintama and TTGL I suppose. TTGL seemed really dull though, I don't get what all the fuss is about. Well, not dull, but it wasn't anything amazing from what I saw, and it was a bit stupid.
Maybe Monster next.
It seems over the top because it is supposed to, and actually Gurren Lagann had one of the largest budgets for an anime series in recent times. The animation is fantastic. :S Unless you're doing a Niamh in which case you actually mean the art style. If so... WHAT?
Really? From the first few episodes the animation doesn't seem that good. And I know it's not meant to be super serious but still, it's not very gripping. And it's just plain weird, like how Kamina just puts grabs Simon's Lagann and sticks it ontop of his Gurren and it's like oh ok now they're combined through BROTHERLY LOVE.
It's explained later how they actually combined.Really? From the first few episodes the animation doesn't seem that good. Some episode had twice the amount of frames a normal anime episode has. The animation is ridiculously fluid and during the second half of the series there is so much going on that you'll get eye cancer.
They didn't combine through brotherly love they combined through manly spiral power! I think you're trying to take it too seriously. The series is meant to be silly, it is supposed to break the rules of psyics and reality (the final battle is in space with mechs 'more than 10 million light years in height' throwing galaxies at each other), it is just supposed to be a bit of fun which it most definitely is if you just give it a chance, but I guess everyone has different tastes.
Well to each his own.
I wish Studio 4°C would make an anime out of Taiyo Matsumoto's Ping Pong manga. It would be sooooooooooooo amazing. Gogo Monster needs an anime as well. I can't believe Tekkonkinkreet is the only one that has been adapted.
