The entire anime is presented out of sequence. It won't make sense until you're atleast half way through. I'll explain the basic story to keep you interested though... in the 1700s a group of people on a ship were all granted the power of immortality. They disbanded after reaching land, but by chance they all come together again on a train journey to a city whose name escapes me. A large amount of tension has grown among the immortals since they got their power, so coming in contact with another is the last thing any of them wanted to do, especially since the only way the immortals can die is by the hands of another immortal. At the same time, the train is being robbed by a gang of thieves and there is also a mass murderer on board who goes by the name 'Rail Tracer'. No one knows who or what it is, but it keeps killing people at random. Of course, there is much more to it than that but they are the main events that all happen on the train journey, which is most of the anime.

It might not sound it, but Baccano is one of the most hardcore series out there! Take a look at these short scenes. One, two, three. Ladd Russo is HAAAARCOOORRREE!!!!!! Damn, I'm rewatching Baccano RIGHT NOW!

By the way, the first episode of the Utawarerumono OVA is released in nine days.

The whole anime is the train, so something has to happen. You didn't watch the clips... did you? -_- Also, try your best not to watch Baccano when tired, because it does require attention to be understood fully.

Wasteman. You just ignore all my posts don't you. Fool! They're hardly spoilers and what does hmphhmmph mean?

I just watched the first episode again and damn it covers a lot of the series, so many scenes were shown. Watching that episode alone makes no sense, but now I've already seen the series I can get so much more from it. By the way... figuring out those guys are immortal isn't exactly hard now is it. They get shot one hundred times but come back to life... anyone would assume they're immortal.

Gawd it's not boring. Most of the *** have a really good story, maybe you found it boring because the PS1 versions had no voices.
