Hm.. that's a fair bit for them two. I don't understand that either. I thought that Kjaers buy out clause is 12m Euros. So they value Cavani at 23m? Not worth near that.

A full-back isn't a priority (maybe a RB) but if you play

Corluka - King - Dawson - Ekotto
Lennon - Modric - Palacios - Bale
Crouch - Defoe
Then yeah I suppose 2 full backs would be priority. In that formation your midfield looks SOLID. I've said it before, your second string is possibly better than our first. Strikers aren't fantastic but hey.

Why not Cole on the left? I know he said he wants to play more centrally, but I think Cole is more suited to the left compared with Modric although he's played there too I suppose.

interesting. Micah Richards still progressing.Joe Cole is in talks with us now. Nothing finalised, will still speak to the goons, but were confident of getting it done. The Spurs lads at the WC have done a good job telling him WHL is the place to be. Fingers crossed.
