I have only seen the first episode but yeah if I ever did watch the rest chances are I would love it because it's made by the same people who did Kaiji (which is awesome by the way, you should watch it).

My children, I bring you two wonderful pieces of news! Firsty, Bill Bailey likes anime. I was just watching QI and he was wearing a Dragon Ball t-shirt!
Second, although I am probably the only one who cares about this, Redline is being shown in London again in February. I am sooooo going! Been wanting to see this film on the big screen since the beginning of time. Can't flippin' wait!
You have no idea how happy this news makes me. Redline looks soooo phenomenal.
That is all.

After seeing the two new Evangelion films at the BFI I can't wait to see Redline! The atmosphere in a cinema full of anime fans is just so jolly and so different compared to your usual cinema experience.![]()
Cheap....in february....only 30 minutes away.
IM DOWN.
Now i need to find someone to go with
I also love how the film is being introduced by Helen McCarthy, who is perhaps the single most important person in the UK as far as anime goes. She is highly responsible for the start and growth of the anime industry in this country. I attended one of her talks at the Expo last October about the UK anime industry and writing about anime and manga professionally. She was an inspiration. Will be great to see her again.
Oh and another thing I love is how they got popular Japanese actors to do the voice work. Tadanobu Asano is an absolutely brilliant, phenomenally diverse actor who has starred in lead roles in films by both Takeshi Kitano and Takeshi Miike (possibly the two biggest directors in Japan) and is even going to be in Marvel's upcoming Thor film. Yu Aoi, who voices the main female character, is huge in Japan and has starred in some of the best Japanese dramas I have ever seen (All About Lily Chou-Chou and Hana and Alice) and Takuya Kimura, who voices the main male character, starred in Love and Honour, which was made by Oscar-nominated director Yoji Yamada. I know no one actually cares, but Redline is a film chock-full of talent! It has been in the making for seven years.
^ OMG LOL might see you there then. :8 If everything goes to plan I'll be going with two of my fellow anime-loving friends.

Sure you've seen me in my msn pic before? If not then I still have one of me there so you can take a look and bash one out over my sexyness.
I have two friends which are pretty much on the same level of anime fandom as me, then a few more friends who are casual fans, then the rest who watch a few Ghibli movies here and there or just don't watch anime. For some reason when I started college I just met loads of people who were into anime. I didn't know anyone who was into anime in high school rofl.
Mmmmmmh theres quite a few in my college and in secondary school that like anime, but they're all SO god damn annoying. They're like a hardcore japanafile, and try and be japanese and just seriously annoying all round. But my 2 friends are decent, except for the fact 1 of em cant decide what he likes for himself and therefore just goes with whatever i or my other friend like. Oh and the other one thinks naruto is one of the best anime.Sure you've seen me in my msn pic before?
