Yeah that's the last bit I know about as well, but that happened months ago now. Tite Kubo must be really dragging it out.

I'll let you know when the movie has been subbed, along with the new special. Apparently Rumbel are subbing it but they're really slow.

    It has been revived.

For Christmas I got both volumes of A Distant Neighbourhood (manga) and Satoshi Kon: The Illusionist, which is a retrospective on all of the directors work (Perfect Blue, Millennium Actress, Tokyo Godfathers, Paranoia Agent and Paprika). I've read the introduction and the part on Tokyo Godfathers so far, it's really good. They're the only anime/manga related things I got though. However I did buy myself Ponyo on DVD the other day.

i mostly bought other dvs like i got Family guy and futurama boxsets for under £100. but got bleach season 4, Battle royale blu ray number 1742 or something out of 10,000. and Funimation Trigun Boxset.

And mater pointed this out to me. recent update to Guild wars game on pc. theres a hero that shouts quotes from Gurren Lagann

"His quotes: "Mine is the spirit that will pierce the heavens!", "Who do you think I am?", "Don't believe in yourself; believe in me, the one who believes in you!", and "Go beyond the impossible, and kick reason to the curb. That's the Ebon Falcon way!" are references to some of Kamina's more memorable lines from the anime Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann."

    Gunmen for GW2.

I got some Kurosawa and Ozu films - Tokyo Story (DVD + Blu-ray), Kagemusha and Ikiru - along with a Korean movie called Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter... and Spring. I watched it the other day and it was absolutely amazing. The rest of the films I got were mostly English-language, although I did treat myself to Pan's Labyrinth and I got Let the Right One In (which is Swedish). All fantastic films.

Spent around £100 on Amazon (and other websites) yesterday on assorted things. Thought I better get the rest of the Mushishi manga since Del Rey not longer exist so everything by them is going out of print. Going to order volume 11 of Kurokami and volume 9 of Yotsuba soon as well. I actually haven't bought any manga in so long. Hoping to buy the Trigun and Samurai Champloo boxsets soon too.
