They would contact them directly by radio and then if nothing happend the goverment or whatever get onto the russian embasy or there goverment to find out what the numptys are doing!

They would only make "shoot to seize" contact with the aircraft if it possed as an immenant threat to the UK and ALL attempts at contacting and diverting have failed. Even though I've heard about them flying as close as possible to divert it. Like, arm length close.
