Haha,
No way is notepag the best
Use FP or DW
I can code in notepad fine, I have dreamweaver but I hardly use it.
kinda quit.
NotePad is one of the most powerful tools. FP and DW are ok if your not comfortable with html & php etc, but Nets, can you tell me how to code in NotePad. Do you need to cut the images seperatly?
I disagree Notepad is what most experts use because it's raw coding which is much better... FP is turd, DW is okish if your a bit of a newbie.Originally Posted by alex_h

Dreamwever is just like notepad but wich active previews, code highling and a wysiwyg editor on top.
Notepad is just the text and is all you need to make a layout, and i do mean all, as you dont even use images.
The programs I used to make my site are notepad, and I made the banner in paint. I normally make my graphics in fireworks.

Can someone listen to me. I no how to code my layout, but do you slice your image mauually and save them all speraratly? Do you slice them in a grid formation? Do you use ILayers? [I hope not] What do you do to your images in teh first place, thats what I meant. and whats the difference in the result?
Ok, I'll post a site I've made which uses sliced images and tables as an example of what I would do.Originally Posted by JoeComins
