Actually, the Xbox 360 has wireless controls, you get a universal remote, a had drive, Core system has none of that, but you can buy it, but it'll cost an extra £100.

But in essence there's no real difference between the consoles. They're both exactly the same, save for the "extras".
Some people are under the impression that the two have differences other than what they come with.
The Xbox 360 has wireless technology (infrared or bluetooth). The Xbox Core has wires, and the others specs that have been raised.
They're both called the Xbox 360, one is named the Core System and the other the Premium Edition. They both have the same wireless technology, same graphics, same insides, but one comes with a wireless controller as standard, and one with a wired controller as standard.

Go down to question 8. The only difference that isn't available on the Core System is the chrome details (on the disk tray and such).
Mmk...I just gonna go ahead and buy the premium model, if you buy the Xbox 360 Core, the full upgrades are going to cost more than the actual Xbox 360 premium.
Yeah, it's definately worth getting the Premium one, you save quite a bit.
I just don't know whether I can be bothered to get one straight away. When the Revolution and PS3 come out, I might end up regretting my purchase, and by that time, the 360 is likely to be a lot cheaper than it is now.

Lol, I'm also thinking this too, in fact, I think alot of people are. The fact that the PS3 is set for release in April, I think its well worth waiting for.
To purchase a £279.99 concole straight away seems a little too much for my liking.
Look at the PSP, they were expecting a total sell out for the first 2 weeks and when it was released, thousands were purchasing them who never pre-oredered. Also, at this moment, there are all kinds of deals going for the PSP, I think after a couple of weeks there were a few deals going for it saving us £'s.
After christmas, maybe even before christmas, I'm sure there will be a good few deals going for the Xbox 360, I may aswell hang on till then or maybe even after :s
Omg, for £215 next month you can get a PSP with 1GB memory. I wish I'd waited
The only problem with waiting for the PS3 is, I've heard it's going to be £400+.
Bleh.
Thats mad!Originally Posted by Bear-Max
