A few new maps *claps* World of warcraft has two continents, soon to be three in another 6 Months. Each continent on foot would takes you about two hours to travel.. You could probably run through each CS map in 5Minutes.

I'd rather play CS, realistic, map size doesn't mean anything, there all reasonable sized maps, probably the best first person shooter in online gaming.
Your right, they are both totally different games, you can't judge them equally, we both have different likes and we both would favour different games
Don't get me wrong though, I would like to play it, just can't be asked to pay monthly
