O_o actually, they didnt copy rita, rita copied them, stealths been planned for over a year now, rita wasnt even planned, it was only built because alton towers got a cheaper price for it because it was a cancelled order from another park

I only realy know about thorpe park, but motorbike coasters were due to be built at Alton Towers, but the plans were scrapped.
Namewise, there was a poll on the site which included names like The Humdinger!
The name was due to be released in october, but i believe it was scrapped due to a certain pizza company. Does "The Edge" spring to mind?

and I thought the new ride was going to be broomsticks, not motorbikes ;p

Probably themed as broomsticks, but the type of ride is called "Motorbike coaster" or something. It's basically Velocity at Flamingo Land. Copyright issues are so complicated! Lol. Alos another rumour is that Disney Land are planning to use that name in the future.

they were going to build a wooden rollercoaster too, but the plans were turned down

Wasn't it because it was above the trees and that trees must be knocked down? I think wooden coasters are noisy aswell, but i've never ridden one.

Coasterforce is down! I can't check, but wasnt is supposed to be tallest and fastest in the U.K? That's not really hard to beat considering there arn't too many wooden coasters! Rumour says that 2008 will be the year
