Thread: 3D Gold Trophy.

    It's ok, but pretty easy to do, around 5-10 mins work normally, that would be a basic lathe for the trophy cup and a couple of cubes for the base.
    The cup is a little on the large side in relation to the base but thats easily fixed.
    I have to say though that it's not as easy as simply "passing it through" a 3D app as someone in this thread stated, if things were that simple i'd be out of a job. :p

    For anyone wanting to have a go, any 3D program can do this, there's dozens of different ones available both free and commercial, personally i find Cinema 4D to be the easiest to learn but still powerfull enough to compete with the likes of Maya and 3DsMax.

    He doesnt pass it through. He layers it and then adds shading etc.
