Not to be disrespectful, because my grandfather died in that war. But why did habbo have silence anyways? Its silent on it all the time, just watch out for console messages. And dont say Im sick or anything because I payed my respect and I know what its like to lose someone from war.

Oh yeh! Does it have something to do with World War I? I was listening to the radio on the way to school this morning as I had to go to school and return my textbooks and sign out of my courses, anyway. It said there would be a 2 minute silence at a certain time (it already happened today, it's night here) and yeh I dunno, they mentioned something about World War I.
Rememberance day is used to remember all the men and women who died in the two world wars, it was originally called Armistice Day until World War II where it was renamed Rememberance day. Originally it marked the 11th hour of the 11th day in the 11th month.. at which point World War I ended (Western Front ceased fire). Its a day recognised worldwide.. in the UK, France, Australia, United States etc.
Its pretty sad that some people don't know what it is, as the chances are you will probably have relatives who were involved the wars. In school here we have the silence, and learn more about Rememberance day to get a better understanding of how those involved suffered and what they did to make our countries what they are today.
