They both walked into the dining room, that overlooked fields, and even more fields. Daisy pulled out her chair and sat down. The food was already on the table. After tea, they both went back upstairs, Daisy set out her sleeping bag. 'I guess this house is different from yours.' Jake said to her as he watched her pulling out her pillow from a black bag. 'Yeah, I guess. But it's better than my own, i've always just wanted to live and have a normal life, but with my house, you can't.' She reliped, out of breath from setting out her stuff. 'What you mean?' He asked her, confused. 'Well, my house is... not normal.' She replied, as she turned around to look at him. He laughed, 'Trust me, you wouldnt want to live in this house!'
Finally, after she'd set out her things, they walked out into the street. They walked to the park, and jumped up onto the roof of a small building at the side of the pathway, covered by trees. Daisy let her feet dangle of the building, and stared at the water trickling down from a mini water-fall by the wall. 'You know, how you said, you'd like a 'normal' house.' Jake began, 'Well, you can stay with us as long as you like you know.' he finished, looking down at his feet shyly. Daisy smiled still looking at the pool of water, 'Thanks.' she replied. he put his arm around her waist and she leaned on his shoulder. They just sat there, dangling their feet. Until finally, Alex and Charlie ran up to them and jumped up onto the roof.
'Did you know - theres - a - fight going on - up town?' Charlie said slowly, out of breath from running. Jake took his arm from around Daisy's waist and looked at Charlie sternly. 'Whos in the fight?' He asked, still looking at her stiffly. 'I think James is in it actually.' She said to him. Jake jumped off the roof and looked at Daisy and the rest. 'Are you coming, when James is in a fight, you expect us to not help him?' He said to them all.
Daisy jumped off, taking Jake's hand, and the other two caught up with them as they left the park gates.
As soon as they got to the top of the street, someone was screaming for Daisy and Jake's name. 'Guys, HELP JAMES!' Said James' sister, Roxy.
Jake took Daisy's hand again and took her through the crowd.
'DUDE HELP!' James screamed as he saw Jake. He ran behind him. 'You better move, or i'll hurt you too.' The guy said who was trying to beat up James. 'No' he replied quickly. The guy punched Jake right in the eye, and Jake fell back. 'JAKE!' Daisy screamed, and everybody in the crowd gasped.
