Rofl, it was.
My mum bought it at a salvage car dealer.
It was a theft recovery, that means that it was stolen and then revovered but by the time it was recovered the insurance company had payed the owner off. So it was sent to auction where the dealer bought it. The only damage it had was the VIN tags had been removed and the navigation system had been removed and the rear light was cracked. So the dealer replaced the VIN tags, the navigation system and the rear lights. It was just like a brand new Mercedes for 10's of thousands less than a new one. We could never afford to buy a brand new Mercedes!!!
