my rant on habbox vip

If someone is willing to pay that much money for rep power than thats their problem. Rep is about how you earned it for some, so you can say to yourself, ive earnt all that 100 rep points whereas someone buying rep can't.

Congrats on absolutely contradicting yourself. Saying that is practically like buying rep except you get a few features. People who buy rep are also supporting the forums - just because you are a VIP doesn't give you the right to 'only support the forum'. So please stop whining if you are going to be a hypocrite.

People were able to just buy reputation before anyway by buying VIP. Alot of ppl bought lots of months / years of VIP for the rep, and requested that they could just buy rep for cheaper than VIP, therefore we opened up the feature to buy rep points to VIPs only.

You're comparing me to a six year old, since when did age come into this. I have read the whole thread and you said you should be able to get free rep when you buy VIP but not be able to buy rep straight off, there is hardly a difference except the extra features. And please, before you comment on me learning english check your spelling? Just for you i've highlighted errors.

I don't see what you mean. It has always been like this. Rep wasn't earned, it was given to people who bought vip. And some bought 1 or 2 years of vip and they received a lot of rep at once.
I do agree that it rep has lost his meaning a bit, since members can buy it, but I think it was already like this when we first introduced vip.

Recently i have seen brand new members getting 7 rep bars in one day and getting offf the chart rep powers. i have also learned that now any forum vip can buy rep. i find this insulting to senior members who spend all their months on habbox forums earning their rep. Rep power used to mean respect and that you have done something to benefit others. now it just means ur using ur money to look all fancy. People with high rep power used to mean they were trustworthy and you could count on them now it means they are new and just buying rep to make them look like they are popular :rolleyes: my opinion on this buying rep thing is a disgrace to senior members and is like slapping us in the face. what is your opinion on this?

but i see it as when u buy vip your paying the forum for a special previliage such as coloured name and all the other vip bonus buy just by buying rep it is like it means nothing i understand getting rep from vip because you are paying money for extra privlages and with them u get free rep per month but by buying vip directly its just like people buy 1 month vip then like 20 rep bars then dont buy vip or nething nemore i find it pointless to buy rep

You do the same when you buy rep. Just except the priveledges, so if they are willing to pay for green bars below there name, let them do it. Instead of whining because somebody has a higher rep than you because they paid for it.

Learn to spell grammar before you correct mine? I nearly 'rolled on the floor laughing'. From your posts you sound (as in look like and with the whininy 'n all) you're a bit PMT. And you think the amount of girlfreinds you have had has anything to do with this? And no i wouldn't cry, i'd rather have no girlfreinds than be 18 and sound like i'm still 12.
