No offence but just because people dress like emos on habbo doesnt mean they actually ARE or WANT to be an emo. From my view they use emo as a style or look, instead of trying to make it a laughing thing

there's no such thing as emo, emo's a genre of music. how can someone be a genre of music? it's becomming a trend so therefore we're making fun of them for wanting to be a genre of music.

But, you realise "emo" is just a genre of music. Emo isn't being sad, or cutting your wrists. Speaking of cutting your wrists, that is the biggest misconception of "emo". People think that all people who listen to emo music cut themselves. This is far from the truth, and it's really lame to think it's true.

All in all, emo is just a genre of music, obviously standing for emotional.

I don't get how you can be a genre of music, but hey. Whatever sinks your ship.
