Just missing out on 10th spot was HIM - wings of a butterfly
    10. Justin Hawkins - This town aint big enough
    9. My chemical Romance - Im not ok (I promise)
    8. The Darkness - One way ticket (to hell and back)
    7. Kings of leon - Four kicks
    6. White Stripes - Blue orchid
    5. Weezer - Beverly Hills
    4. The Killers - Somebody told me
    3. Foo Fighters - Best of you
    2. Green day - Wake me up (When september ends)
    1. Stereophonics - Dakota

i haven't a clue how they compiled that list, as i wouldn't of put Stereophonics at number 1 to be honest. it is a great song, but not the best of the year :s.

I think the min winner of that list is Justin hawkins, as he got in there 2wice, solo + with his band, the darkness.

Hopefully 2006 will bring just as much good music.
Whos #1? Im slow, never heard of that song. Green Day should be in the pop section, either that or the bad section. Can sombody please kill 'Best of you". Better yet, kill anyone who likes that song, so many good FF songs, but they chose the worst one as the best. Speaking of Kill, that killers song actually wasent bad to start, but people butchered it, now its poo. Weezer is okay, but didnt like that song. White Stripes, hell yeah, but there were a few better songs on that CD, like "The Denial Twist", but blue orchid was okay. Have never heard of the rest, sorry.

Greenday are soo mainstream now -chokez-

And people start listening to their new stuff thinking it's such hard Rock/Punk.

And that Wake me up song is played wayy too much, beyond belief.

Out of them, Blue Orchid is the biggest "Rock banger" as such.

I prefer rap/hiphop but I do like the White stripes. Their beats on some songs are quite phenomenal and i really like Blue Orchid I like songs of theirs like My Doorbell, Seven Nation Army. I'm not saying I'm a hardcore fan and i only know a couple of their songs

You'd like their song "The Denial Twist", it has a really good beat.
