yeah but if you say the ps3 will be better simply because it comes out a few months after the 360 then obviously xbox owns ps2. which it does, but many sony fans say the ps2 is better than the xbox even tho the xbox came out after the ps2, now they say the later the release the better the console?.... maybe xbox have decided to make more time to beat ps3 to its next console. ps4 and bring out a xbox 3 who knows, at the moment i say the 360 owns and i doubt the graphics can get any better.
the rev will own aswell, ps3 i just dont like atal.

They have the PSP why change the name? it won't make any difference to the console..

I think for the PS3, you can't really doubt at the moment, ofcourse we all have our opinions about it but when this console is the hands of cunning gamers, i'm sure you'll get a overall verdict.
Maybe the design doesn't totally appeal to alot of people but take a look at its gaming side, its a powerful console which I think with games could keep producing better games as time progresses. Because there were talks of its fellow game companies complaining about the amount of power the PS3 has, the companies are worried that there games won't meet fully of the PS3's power.

Why not change the name? Because Playstation is a recognised brand throughout the world, and PS3 makes it sound like progress is actually being made over the PS2. It's one of the reasons we have an Xbox 360 instead of an Xbox 2 - the name PS3 would immediately sound more advanced because it has a larger number. Of course, everyone knows that Xbox 360 is not exactly a stellar name; Microsoft probably would have done better to go with Xbox Next.

Oh and don't forget - it's not just 360 games that will be £50, PS3 games will too. It's inevitable seeing as games are costing more money to make with the fancy graphics. (Of course, you could just go to ASDA or Tesco where all the games are £39.97)

well i agree with ur friend all of the next gen consoles look like crap all 3 are gonna need HD ready TV's probably so guess what? its another way of trying to rip you off from ur £300+ purhcase of plastic that are dubbed as "next-gen" i bet that Sonys actually putting a sandwhich toaster fuinction in the ps3 cos its looks like one, microsoft proabably has a detonator in the 360 for when the owner decides that they have been a moron by not having a HD ready tv and the revolution will proabably be able to plug into pc's so people can play dvds without hte need to use a ****y remote

Ok for starters, you have it all completely wrong. Your mate says that the Revolution controller looks bad??? Take a look at the Playstation 3 Controller, it looks like a boomerang! Xbox games rubbish, no the revolutions games are the ones that will be rubbish, and besides Nintendo is only for kids who like mario lol. The xbox 360 has some great games, Project Gotham Racing 3, Perfect Dark Zero and Fifa are to name a few from the launch titles.

I predict that the Playstation 3 will probably sell more than the Xbox 360 and the revolution will sell well in Japan, but there only. :eusa_danc
