I liked them before they were popular, i like 'lieing is the best a girl can have without taking her clothes of' or 'the only difference'

What something sounds like isn't an opinion. If I said P!ATD sounded a bit like Cypress Hill, I'm wrong - it isn't an opinion.

For the record, I hate P!ATD and pretty much every band like them ^_^

I like P!ATD, and chavs have never heard of them round my area.

But chavs play FOB, and I've gone off them now.

Just as a general query, why does it matter if people that you don't like listen to the music you listen to? A lot of my friends listen to all those emo metal bands, and then some younger kids started listening to them and they started saying stuff like "Oh these bands are a bit boring now, too mainstream, I know some new ones". Seems that if you don't listen to their music you "have no taste", and if you do, you're "a wannabe". Doesn't affect me the same, hardly anyone I know knows who Balzac (my favourite band) are, but I wouldn't care if they were as well known as Elvis, their music doesn't get worse just because someone else likes them.

If that was aimed at me, I never said I went off FOB becuase chavs listen to it. I've gone off them simple becuase I listened to them too much.

So try not jumping to conclusions?

    I agree totally with FlyingJesus.

I couldn't care less if someone I disliked; or a "chav" started listening to the same music as I do. All that matters is I enjoy the band, and continue to be impressed by their work.

I dislike how people go off bands when they become more main stream, and more different kinds of people listen to them. Just listen to the music you enjoy, and dismiss what other people think of it - "each to his own".

Anyways, I like P!ATD before they were popular, and even more so now. More people recognise the band, and I like it that way.
