Max i tried to see if i could do anything with it (i hope you dont mind) and i got this. but i cant do anything with the eyes.

I redrew the mouth and nose (sorta) and i curved the outline and i faded the shading on the hat together wot do you think?

yes but i tried rounded eyes and it still didnt work

the undetailed version seemed better then the finished one
now u see ur problem is the lack of detail, the idea is when u double it up u add more detail so the cheeks look rounder etc
not just blow it up

I suggest moving the eyes and nose more downwards and rightwards, to bring the face out more.
