Thats why there is no reason to make Ipod space bigger. It would take 2 weeks to listen to a full 5000 song Ipod.

Actually it is his personal collection, which is all bought by the night club he works in.

He doesn't like every single one of the songs, but the point of your post was to decline any claim that anyone shouldn't need any more than so and so songs, not that they should like them all. ;D

The reason the iPod has such a large capacity is basically to be used as a hard drive. I have a backup copy of my computer (essentials) and school work on my iPod, which in all waste a lot of space.

Not many people are aware that an iPod can be used as a hard drive, which is a shame, really. It's very useful.

Lol, ok, I was owned. I should have said 'no one LISTENS to more than 2000 songs'

And still, most people use it just for music. I have a Zen Micro anyway, I cant use it as a hard drive or anything I dont think. It doesnt even open actually.

I have about 5000 on my computer and 3000 on my ipod that i actually listen to.

I dont select individual songs. If I see a song in like then i get all the songs by that artist. This is one way how i have so many songs and listen to them. I agree that you usually only have about 100 songs that you are really into at a time but sometims i like to switch to another artist and listen to some older songs that bring back memories. I have about 80 sublime songs and probably 100 blink 182 songs.

I would probably have more on my ipod but it is only 15 gigs and doenst hold much more....

Hmm.. Well, it can probably be used for data storage. Try connecting it to your computer and check your My Computer. If you see your Zen Micro displayed as a drive of some sort, it can most likely be used as data storage. Double-click the icon and drag your files inside.
