Not realy, its just the japonisese word for animation, and is used to describe animations comeing from there, or france as i belive the word is also a dirvitaive from there.
In japan animation thogh rather than simply being used to entertain kids is also used more commonly in what would be seen here as more adult films or programs, which include massivly more complex story lines "/

I think that would fall under the same logic as not posting ****o in the normal forums or this one... and vice versa....
