Wow, encouraging to oppose your parent's views for someone elses. Doesn't that just remind you of 1930's Germany?

Also, by not eating something, that doesnt mean you saved it. Meat companies dont say "This guy doesnt eat meat, we shouldnt kill this cow". Supply and demand isnt effected by one person, there is no way to measure how many animals are 'saved' by vegitarians.
techincaly the stats probaly correct, althogh its being used in a way to trick people, something peta do commonly.

There more giveing you the statictic on how many diffent animals your meat will come from, rather than how many whole animal you will eat yourself, 92 maybe? buy about 30 people will probaly eat other parts as well "/

Two pages from the same brilliant site. Excuse the extremity of some of the things said, but the main point is clear. Animals will be killed even if we all turn completely vegan, because of techniques used in non-livestock farming. Not even using that meat to feed people is pure idiocy. And ask yourselves, why do you really care? With the exception of dolphins perhaps, pretty much all animals are well below us humans by way of brainpower, and let's face it, we're simply the better species and have a right to eat what we like. We're primarily predators for Christ's sake, would you go against nature in such a pointless way? The "pain" that animals feel is just an instinct reaction to a sudden change in their surroundings (ie: a spike through the neck), whereas we feel it through instinct and actually understand what it is we feel. You care because you've been taught to. Killing something that's been bred for eating, that's fair enough. It's for the good of the human race, and more importantly, me. Killing domestic animals that someone is or at one time was attached to, that's what's wrong. And blow me, who is it who does the most of that? Why, it's those crazed chaps down at PETA.

Im not agaist killing any animal as long as its for a purpos, To Eat, for fur, or even just get rid of a pest.
As long as its not done out of malis, and actaly has a point rather than simply being an act of vilence i have no problem with it.
Dog is just as valid a food as cow, just becuse people are usaly more attched to dogs, doesnt change the status in anyway for me "/

About the comic, It's not corrupting childrens minds, it's the truth, if you wear fur or eat meat, the fact is your paying for the slaughter of innocent animals.

No animals should be killed for meat? Ok I have an idea. Wipe out every single species on the planet that is a predator, decomposer or scavenger, then I'll consider turning vegetarian. Why should I not eat meat when other animals do it all the time? Go tell a lion not to hunt. Go tell a snake not to bite. Hell, let's not stop at food, why not ask giraffes not to walk? Humans are naturally predators, we kill and we eat. Why argue with nature?

That pretty much sums up everything. You cant really have a strong counter argument for THAT. Tis all true, and fact.
