Oo right ty to all. What do you think I should do? Risk going back to the doc and waiting ages? Or will cough sweets work?

Ask for some medicine for Tonslitious. Then see what happens from there... Penaceline or however you spell it is what I had when I had it bad, (well, I think it was :s) but that made me sick. So I had to have a different medicine, forgot what it was called.

You should take the time to go back to the doctor, they may not have detected the problem first time around, its worth letting them double check just to makesure
