I have read The Da Vinci Code and it is one hell of a book, I loved every page of it. Too many people say that The Da Vinci Code is a novel, which is true however let me quote that Dan Brown did say, "It's a novel, fiction based on fact." -- And the first page of the book did say that every historical truth, event and places are entirely fact. If everything in The Da Vinci Code was fictional then what about The Last Supper? The Priory of Sion? They are all fact and everything, every 'code' is FACT.

I saw the film last night and it's brilliant. Every actor portrays the characters perfectly.
He said that all places, societies and works of art were real, not the theories were true. Even Dan Brown says he doesnt actually believe that Jesus was married, or that its a secret covered up by the church. As a matter of fact, the theory of Jesus being married and the codes in Da Vinci's work are centuries old, and very public, he's just the only person to put it in a best-selling novel. He just says its a theory worth discussing.
