Yeah, I just read through that again and it came over biased. Never the less, I was trying to say, that the older you are, it doesn't mean that you are more experienced, but in turn, they could be.
I think I'm digging myself a bigger hole.![]()

I'd love to help as a general forum administrator =D
That went fast.
Good luck, if you want it to go well dont hire people who can think they have any skills ^_^
Thats besides the point. This is a webdesigners skills forum, not a random forum. I bet you only know small parts of HTML and maybe echos in PHP? Oh and think there is something called "expanadble tables"Originally Posted by :.:Numark:.:

I dont get Expandable tables!
+ When you said i think there is something called expandable tables, i said expandable iframes not tables
I know quite a bit of Html but am a noob at PHP.
ANyway i would like to help out with the forum not the actual website.
I can skin and modify vb's. I can install anything you want me too
.
I can be techie or just a plain admin.
This is a forum not a website, therfore you would need to know what you are talking about, for example do you think Sitepoint would be successful if MMJ and Nicky didn't know what they was talking about and didn't hire people who know what they're doing.
This will never be successful as he would hire his mates who think HTML is something that only geeks know.
But Dan, as you said, Site point has hired people in which know what they are doing, as they wanted to go somewhere with what they are creating, where as I'm sure this forum is wanting to go somewhere, but they dont want to attract the professional people, well thats the just I got off it. As the name actually comprehends that. But, if it were to be a professional forum, they can later hire people with a vast knowledge.
People may actually join the forum to pass on their skills and help others in what they do, but I can see your point Dan, and it is correct in terms, but I'm not quite sure how the owner/founder would like how the forum is advertised if so to speak.
