Lunk wth are you on about , you havn't even played a frikking PS3 yet you say its rubbish , I would like to see you make such a machine , and PS2 and PS2 Slimline , theirs no difference except appearence, just sony trying to make more money while they wait for the realease of the PS3 and PSP 3

Personally in a perfect world I would get the PS3 and the Xbox 360. The wii is pure crap apart from the controller witch is kinda cool. I would get the PS3 because I have been playing on Playstations since I was young and I got a PS1 for my birthday.

The slim PS2 is somewhat good, smaller, thinner, no need to worry about out-of-array-lens, comes with the ethernet adapter built in... but one flaw.

No HDD for it so you can't speed up loading times for games online(which is a nescessay thing yo have), play final fantasy 11 and thats bout it'.

My friend has a PS2 Slimline. It's a very cool update - if you haven't got a PS2 yet I'd highly recommend it; there's a great catalogue of games to play. However, it does exactly the same job as the PS2, so don't go shelling out for one if you have an original PS2.

I agree that people need to stop going on about how "crap" the PS3 is before they've played it. It could be a marvellous system. The price tag is a whole other kettle of fish though - extremely expensive for what it is.

And for those saying the 360 is too big, well... the PS3 is bigger. Of coure, Sony fanboys will now change their tune and go for the approach that "size doesn't matter".

i personally like microsoft at this moment in time but who know i may change back to sony

and who ever said about xbox live being a rip off, i would rather pay to play online games with the biggest online community (not including pc) than play online for free with lets just say a handful of people on playstation

PS3 is so rubbish. Xbox 360's are way better, I'm hopefully getting one in a few weeks.
Btw, Microsoft are releasing Halo 3 the same day as PS3. Halo will sell more.

Again YOU don't know anything about it. You have never played one, your not an expert on the sony systems. You have a 1 thought pattern mind. What ever YOU like its the only thing that matters... NO.

We can't. You have nothing to base yout arguement on either. Just what you think and what YOU think is wrong. If the PS3 sucked and the BETA testers didn't like it then sony wouldn't put it on the market because it would lose them money.

So NO the PS3 won't suck. Its you opnion that it will, not a general fact.
