I would class going out for lunch as a date, yes, and a following date to the movies also. During them movie just whisper to her quietly about stuff, and ask her if shed like to come out on another date, then you could tell her you like her.

Personally, I don't think you should ask her if she likes you - if she does she might get a bit scared or won't like being put on the spot, and may just say no anyway incase you don't like her.

well, we went to the shopping centre ready for the movie but she looked at the wrong time so the movie wasnt on!!! It was arkward today when i went to see her at the football and when i was leaving she asked if i liked her more then a friend i said no because it was an arkward time. How can i say 'i like you more than a friend' now but i dont know how!

When you next go out with her, get the conversation flowing, maybe a bit of flirting, then make her laugh, and when the conversation has that little pause, say "You know what you were saying the other day..."
