    Michael Jackson (even if he does like children), Elvis Presley and Axl Rose

    All of them are musical geniuses but are/were complete lowlifes.

    Anyway hmm I would say;
    Elvis Presley - As they say he's the King of rock and roll.
    Hendrix - Pretty much everyone knows about him, great guitar skills and great musician.
    Queen - Fasinating
    Beatles - Whole beatle mania.
    I'm trying to think of more but fail to do so ;/ I'll post more when my brain connects.
    Because hes been around for 5 years, and you dont always have to be a legend if your retired..
    Hes got the best lyrics, and has won awards for them, so it's not only me who thinks that, hes what makes hip hop today..
    All of his songs are brilliant too..
    Hows that?

    If you go on well known, it would be Elvis, Michael Jackson and Beatles. Not everyone's heard of Jimmy Hendrix or Queen but those three are the main. Maybe Madonna would be 4th

    Also 50 cent is growing in being known every where, I mean he's got fan bases in Bahrain! I don't think he's affected hip hop that much, except taken the Mixtape industry to a new level and take money making to a new level. Whereas someone like Dr Dre has made a huge influence on the industry and even society. He really took gangsta rap to the masses, which may have caused all these wannabe gangstas that carry 3 inch blades around with them.

    I mean 50 cent does make some poor tracks sometimes, I mean his mixtape stuff in general is pretty poor. I don't like his new singing style, but i like his gangsta rap songs, e.g. Lifes on the line, heat, many men etc...
