Id say around 18.

1. The law.
2. You dont want to have sex when your 13 or something because your body is still growing.
3. You could actually make the girl pregenent and you will be a father at a very young age if you do it before 18, just at 18, your more mature and older.

But if you want to loose your virginity/have sex at a certain age, go for it, but be sure to use protection, its up to you when you want to have sex, if you want to have sex at a young age, thats your choice, or if you want to wait until the legal age, its also your choice, but for the age id say 18.

Lol probably a good explantion, anywho, I think that 16 is a good age, yet I find that most people i know did it at 16, its just one of those things, people tend to think,

"If you do it 1 year younger I'm really cool

Personally, I don't think you can put an exact age on when it is 'healthy' to have intecourse. You can't say, YOU SHOULD HAVE IT ON THE 16TH YEAR OF THE 12TH DAY AT 2:47PM.

Personally, I believe you should wait until you find someone who you are in love with and you have a connection with, rather than just bonking off with the first girl you come to. I also agree that the law is there for a reason, and it's so you are old enough to be able to deal with any consequences that may arise out of having sex.

However, I didn't wait until I was 16 myself, and I know a lot of other people havn't either. Personally, I waited until I was with a girl who I loved and want to be with for the rest of my life to do it.

I do think 13 is far too young though, as you will be no where near finished puberty yet and you still have a lot of developing, physically and mentally, to do.

14 at the VERY youngest I'd say, and that's only if you're an early starter. I was just 15 (a week after my birthday) when I first had proper sex, and that was with someone who I'd been with for a while and was (and still am) in love with. You, mister thread-starter, say you just go out and get drunk with girls, that's not how it should happen. I know at that age you really don't care, but you'll probably come to regret it in a few years time if your first bang is with some underage ho who's off her face on cheap booze.
