Downloading Music

Sometimes I use itunes but in general I would use limewire.

Well if I see a good band I like on music channels/magazines or wherever I'll download a few songs and then look up their albums and 90% of the time I go out and get the albums, otherwise it's just not worth it. Plus on my old cráp mp3 I couldn't store .wma files so I couldn't store any of my cds so I had to download the songs, only the ones I really liked.

Anyway to the point, anyone got reasons that they used for arguing for downloading or a biased opinion? Cos I missed the last poll so will have to argue with you here. So any opinions people?

Sometimes, if I like the band that much then I'll just buy the album and upload all the songs, but most of the time I just use morpheus.

But yeah, I download music illegaly. Not as often anymore though..

I download illegally but before any of you start saying "Your not supporting your bands much then are you!!?", i actually buy the albums aswell but it's annoying putting CD's into the computer so i download the songs too.

And some CD's have that damn protection poop. Like the Foo Fighters CD from last year had tons of protection. If you put it in your PC, a player they make for the PC opens, so you cant listen on any other player. I had to record the album as a whole, and then break it up to the songs then get them on my Zen Micro. Thank god sony stopped doing that.

yes, i don't see the point in buying it from itunes or whatever since you can GET IT FOR FREE.
